Each year we evaluate the present and set intentions to manifest well-being in the New Year. In yoga this translates to your practice on and off the mat. We aim to be healthier in body, mind and spirit and know yoga helps bring us into a healthy state of balance. Why not, at the start of 2012, commit to doing yoga every day for 30 days to make the practice an ingrained habit? We are going to make the challenge as easy as possible to stick to. All you have to do it show up on your mat every day, with no lofty goals and no expectations, and see what unfolds. Yoga is not just the physical asana. If your physical practice is strong spend time over the 30 days sitting in stillness. Simply focus on your beautiful breath.

How It Works

* Dates: Jan 2 - Jan 31.
* Sign up at the studio or on our Facebook event page.
* Asana: Daily for at least 20 minutes.
* Studio classes: Try for 3 per week and experiment with different styles and teachers.
* Try to include Meditation Monday at the studio.
* Spend some time each day on your own in stillness.
* Journal your experience.

* Emails with meditation tips, mantras and inspirational quotes.
