Cyndi Terry Kershner, RYT 500
Cyndi's passion for teaching yoga arises out of her foundational belief that we are all, at our core, perfect and whole, and her classes offer students the opportunity to connect with this place in themselves, and practice from this place. She typically starts class with a reflection on some aspect of yoga philosophy, and then weaves in this reflection throughout class.
Cyndi's style is fluid and diverse, utilizing the influences of sacred poetry and kirtan during classes. She teaches vinyasa flow yoga, in which breath and movement form a seamless whole, and also incorporates mindfulness meditation techniques into her classes.
She has trained as both a yoga teacher and a yoga therapist, and she incorporates her knowledge of therapeutic yoga into her regular classes. Cyndi's classes are accessible to all levels, as she always offers plenty of options and variations of poses, and she feels very strongly that the benefits of yoga should be available to everyone, regardless of any physical limitations. Cyndi has extensive experience teaching folks in wheelchairs and with many kinds of health challenges, and strives to reach out to diverse and under served communities.
